My tank

After a big lumpy breeding tank in my living room I decided to size down a little bit. The idea was to build a tank for young stingrays. The adult rays I put in the breeding farm.. So know I have big eye catching tank with mostly predators and stingrays in their. Actually as we speak I'm changing my tank already. But this I will show you in the future. The tank was custom build and delivered threw Aquacompleet  a well known lfs in our neighborhood.

A few pictures of the new tank developing

An empty wall till today. The tank is 3 meters long. Water height is 80 cm. The front glass is going from 80 cm to 90 cm and back to 80 cm, so you get a bow shape. The appearance of the tank is smaller then the tank before.
The cabinet has arrived, so I can make the necessary preparations for the tank.

The tank has been designed so I can put it directly against the wall. All the tubing and electrical wiring is going threw specially compartments in the tank. So nothing is visible outside.
The filter system installed before the tank arrives.
The first compartment is filled with bio balls the second compartment with glass tubes.
With a diamond drill I drilled a hole in my concrete floor. I installed a automatic water changing system. Also the tubing of the heating system went threw the floor.
Filter overview. The empty space is for the heating tubing.
These pipes normally used for floor heating I use for heating of my tank. It's a radiator submerged in water.
And then my friends of Aquacompleet arrive. The doors of the truck opened and then you ask yourself 'did I ordered that'. Somewhat bigger as you thought
You see me thinking, how do I explain this to my wife.
Part of the fencing was removed to get the tank in the back yard.
Part 1 has been completed.
I can still feel my back.
Almost in.
